It's like the musical equivalent of going for a Night Out with your buddies and they bring THEIR buddies who you've never met and normally you'd be annoyed, but this time it's TOTALLY COOL because the drinks are flowing and you're having a blast and the more the merrier, baby. Or something. You get the drift. ^_^

I just tried on one of my old strapless bras that I outgrew and it fit again! XD And my clothes are starting to fit better in some instances, and hang off me in others. >_>

Resumes are easy - it's the "HI YEAH I SAW YOUR JOB ONLINE AND IT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING I CAN DO PLZ HIRE ME PLZ PLZ PLZ" bullshit that gets to me. There's only so many ways you can spin that. ~_~;;

She's apparently hiring someone to do a background check on me. Like, a Private Investigator or something. My question is, does this mean I get to wear the pretty dresses and curls and dark, dramatic lipstick a-la cherished Film Noir tradition, and do I really have to smoke those cigarettes with the long stem thingies? Because I'll take the pretty dresses and such, but if it's all the same to them, I'd rather pass on the cigarettes. I'm allergic. >_>

Anyway. Her grandmother is, of course, completely ignoring the fact that A.) Moth and I have been buds for at least a couple of years now, and B.) Moth is a 21 year-old woman, which kinda cancels out the whole pedophilia thing. The worst I could be a is a lesbian. *leers liek wo*

As we discussed the merits of my apparent lesbianism, ("Wait...does this mean I'm gay??", "Are you saying you AREN'T?? You're breaking my heart, here!!") along with musings over what the heck her grandmother is smoking, I decided to blog this.

Because clearly, this Precious Moment needs to be shared. XD

You know, after reading this, I really, REALLY want Firefly/Dr Who x-over fic. (Mal's #2 in the list and The Doctor's #4.)

No pairings outside of canon, just gen fic with Mal & The Doctor having to learn how to get along and work together to save the day. >_>

So, some of you may have known about my recent trip to California.  Essentially, I was there for a wedding and to see friends that I hadn't seen in 4+ years.  I was there for a week exactly, from one Sunday to the next.

When filling out a job application, at the part where you list software you're experienced/proficient with, what do you list if they include a Computer Hardware section?

Is this code-speak or do they really expect you to put down that you know how to click a mouse or turn on a monitor? o_O

...well, I say dark. The streetlights weren't too bright. And it was really about 3:00 in the morning, but eh. Who cares?

The point is, it was night, and it was stormy. Very, very stormy.

Long, loud, soaking wet, huge lightning bolts that looked close enough to grab out of the sky, ground-shaking thunder, sheets of rain and I was just out in the middle of it for about 2 hours with no umbrella or raincoat. XD XD XD *is quite mad, yes, how could you tell?*

We need more weather like this. >_>

Ok, I loathe the fact that when I do the ?skip=20 thing to read my friends list, it won't show the icons. WTF, IJ? Anyone know if they're working on that or if it's just part of the whole "Refried Paper" layout design? And bringing in more layouts like Flexible Squares and whatnot for free accounts? (Yes, I know paid accounts are cheap but I literally Have No Money Right Now so I have to make do with free.)

And jeebus, I still gotta transfer most of my icons. XP HAI IJ PLZ TO BE INCLUDING A MULTI-UPLOAD OPTION FOR ICONS KTHNX.

They're fandom-friendly, but the site needs some serious renovation.
